Event Title	Tony Edwards 5 km Challenge
Event Description	Visit the scenic town of Hastings to participate in this fun recreational 5 km event for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities on the beautiful TransCanada trail. Free 2 km junior jog for kids 12 and under. Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Draw prizes. Teams of 4 runners/walkers eligible for additional prizes.  Free post race snacks and drinks. Proceeds to go to the Hastings Revitalization Committee for community projects.

End Date	Saturday, October 13, 2007
Start Time	2 km junior jog at 9:40 am.  5 km run/walk at 10:00.  Awards and prizes at 11:15.
End Time	Noon.
Location	Town of Hastings. Sign in (8:30 – 9:30 am) St. George's Anglican Church, 38 Bridge Street, Hastings

Level of Challenge	Easy. Distance travelled is 5 km. Travel time for walkers is approximately 1 hour.  Runners complete the course in 20-35 minutes.

Fee	$25 per person if pre-registered. $30 on race day.  No fee for 2 km junior jog (12 and under) and eligible for prizes.
