Burnt River Area Hike

Event Description

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Ganaraska Trail and explore the Ganaraska Trail in the Burnt River area.  This will be a challenging hike across rugged terrain with beaver dam crossings and some bushwhacking involved. Bring a lunch, snacks, lots of water (2 litres).  Hiking boots are required as well as some hiking experience. Rob will be your guide.

Meet at Fowlers Corners Coffee Time at 7:30 am to carpool or in Norland at the traffic light at 9:15 am.

Experienced hikers.  Group size is limited to 25

Level of Challenge

Challenging.  Distance is 17 km.  Hiking time is approximately 5-6  hours.
