Description
|
The Ganaraska Trail is
celebrating its 40th anniversary by offering ten guided hikes over two days in
various locations. The hikes are suitable for all levels of
ability, from easy to challenging. The Ganaraska Trail is a 500 km trail that
starts in Port Hope at the Waterfront Trail and travels through Central
Ontario to connect with the Bruce
Trail near Glen
Huron. The Ganaraska Trail was
developed and is maintained entirely by volunteers. The ten hikes being
offered are:
Beavermead Lift Locks Walk
Burnt River Area hike
Fenelon Falls Historical Walk
Ken Reid Conservation Area Walk
Omemee Walk
Parkway Trail Hike
Petroglyphs Provincial Parks Hike
Silent Lake
Provincial Park Hike
Trent Wildlife Sanctuary Walk
Warsaw Caves Hike
