The Haliburton Highlands really does “rock” in so many ways. Explore the rich minerals deposits, unique geological features, and rugged autumn landscapes of the area while enjoying the great hospitality and fine folk of the Highlands. This one day adventure includes a hike led by geologist to world class undisturbed sites of unique minerals and crystals, a tasty lunch, and mineral collecting at the Bear Lake Occurrence and other sites. |
