5th Annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour

Hastings Highlands Hilly Hundred

The 3rd Annual Hastings Highlands Hilly Hundred, billed as “Ontario’s Toughest Century Ride”, is a cycling event that weaves its way through the hills and valleys of the Canadian Shield from Bancroft, Combermere, Wilno, Barry’s Bay and back.  Participants can choose from 4 distances, approximately 60k, 80k, 160k, and 240k. The terrain is a mix of gentle country paved roads, limited highway riding, and “breathtaking” hills carved through ancient granite bedrock.  Riders will travel through some of Ontario’s most beautiful landscapes, pristine lakes and colourful hardwood forests. more...

 

Peterborough Family Cycling Adventure

A lovely cycle ride along the Scenic River Road Trail between Peterborough and Lakefield. Participants receive healthy treats at checkpoints along the trail. At each checkpoint, participants get their Cycling Adventure Passport stamped. When they complete their ride, participants submit their passport to be entered in a draw for prizes. Cyclists start at Trent University and follow the river along the trail to just before Lakefield. The distance of the ride is approximately 8 km each way. Kawartha Rube-Eh?

A bicycle adventure ride on varying types of road surfaces, from pavement, to gravel road to rail trail to forest tract. You have your choice of two distances - 60km. and 35 km. This is a fundraiser for the Kawartha Lakes Food Source a food bank serving the residents of the City Of Kawartha Lakes. Kiwanis Colour Cribbage Ride

Explore the scenic road ways of Prince Edward County by bicycle while playing a game of cards - cribbage.  Collect tokens at check points to turn in for cribbage hand.
